Jay Ogilvy, Ph.D.

Jay Ogilvy, as managing director and co-founder of the Global Business Network, consults with Fortune 500 companies on strategic planning based on alternative scenarios and intelligence about the global social, economic and political environment.

He also teaches in the Presidio School of Management MBA program. Jay has been a Senior Social Scientist at SRI International (formerly Stanford Research Institute); and Director of Research for the Values and Lifestyles (VALS) Program. He has taught at Williams College, the University of Texas at Austin and Yale University.

He received his Ph.D. and M.A. in Philosophy from Yale University, and B.A. from Williams College. Jay has authored numerous articles, reviews and books, including Creating Better Futures, Living Without a Goal and China's Futures.
