Nathan Shedroff

Nathan Shedroff is the Program Chair for a new MBA in Design Strategy program being launched at the California College of the Arts. He also teaches at U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Co-author of Making Meaning: How Successful Businesses Deliver Meaningful Customer Experiences, Nathan also created and helped launch the first Dictionary of Sustainable Management.

Prior to teaching at Presidio, Nathan was co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Vivid Studios & Vivid Publishing, which published books and software and advised start-ups and Fortune 500 companies such as Nike, Kodak, Bell Atlantic, Microsoft and Lazard Freres on interactive media design projects. The company quickly became one of the leading agencies in interface design and online development. He was nominated twice for a Chrysler Innovation in Design Award and I.D. Magazine named Vivid one of the 40 most important designers in the country.

Previously, he was a Senior Designer at The Understanding Business, where he was responsible for managing, presenting and designing various projects, including books such as Information Anxiety and various ACCESS Guides, prototypes for electronic applications and user interfaces, and products that have tremendous information organization needs. Nathan is a consultant, author and educator who lectures internationally. He holds an MBA degree from Presidio School of Management and a B.S. degree in Industrial Design from the Art Center College of Design in California.
