James Nachbaur, Ph.D.Faculty James Nachbaur co-teaches the Ecological Economics & Macro Economics course with Maggie Winslow. With a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, his dissertation explored community management of local common-pool resources. His interests include environmental economics, development economics, institutional change, social justice, and entrepreneurship. James was a Graduate Fellow at the Property and Environment Research Center and a Visiting Scholar at the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis. He has worked for the International Water Management Institute in Jordan on investments in agriculture and has taught in Delhi in the Institute's International Course on Groundwater Governance in Asia. photo by Patty Nason | |
