If your company would like to propose a student project, please complete the Request for Project (MS Word) form to help us match your needs with available course offerings, faculty and students. Send the form via email to: pol@presidiomba.org.

The deadline for project requests for Spring 2009 is November 21, 2008. Spring projects will start in late January and finish in early May. You should expect to commit 1-3 hours a week working with the student team throughout the project.

Project teams typically include three to five MBA students over the course of eight to twelve weeks, depending on the scope.

Participating companies have found our student projects to deliver significant business value and provide lessons in how sustainability can become a source of competitive advantage in the marketplace. As a result, requests for projects have become numerous and may take time to fill. A limited number of organizations offering Projects will be able to make a 1 minute verbal pitch of their project to the students, faculty and each other at our Project Fair, on January 14th, 2009, 6:30-8:30 pm, San Francisco. While we do our best to match students with projects as quickly as possible, a participating company may experience a wait time of up to one semester for an appropriate match.

New projects are selected based upon the fit with course goals, student team availability and opportunities to promote sustainable management practices. Once you have submitted a completed project request form, a faculty or staff member will contact you within one month to discuss the opportunity further.  Thank you for your interest.
