Goodwill Industries worked with Presidio MBA students to write a business plan for a new revenue stream. The new business focus converts the current waste stream into refurbished products generating new revenue within an untapped market.

The Goodwill project manager said, “The work the Presidio student team did afforded us the time to creatively think of how to maximize our triple bottom line and explore many options. The time we invested in working with students more than paid for itself in the quality of the work produced and the access to the Presidio ‘think tank.’ The quality was equal to a consultant’s and realistic for our organization.”

Since the completion of this project, Goodwill has partnered with several more Presidio student teams.
